My Story
I have started my career in medical affairs nearly seven years ago and for the last five I have been an MSL. My experience ranges from working in immunodiagnostics to small- and medium-pharmaceutical industry. I have been in my latest role with Biogen since September 2021 covering the North of UK.
Reason for MSLA Involvement
While trying to figure out the right path from academia into pharmaceutical industry myself, I noticed how hard it was to filter out relevant information about different roles, prepare for the interviews and feel confident as an MSL candidate. Having been an MSL for the past five years, I wanted to share my experience and perspective with those interested in the role. As a result I have started an MSL blog. High rate of engagement has demonstrated that the demand for information continues to grow as medical affairs function develops. By joining the MSLA I want to contribute to building a place where those passionate about medical affairs can come to find answers, share ideas and be involved in shaping the future direction of the MSL role.
